A little hello from behind the scenes… 👋

I’m Stacy Jane, Founder and CEO of Escabags.

I started Escabags in 2020 after escaping domestic abuse myself. I know how much courage it can take to leave, and how much a few kind words can mean in that moment.

Today we remember you on what would have been your 38th birthday.

Hannah, your story, your strength and your legacy continue to create change far beyond what we could have imagined.

Your story is helping change attitudes, educate communities, influence training and drive meaningful legislative change around domestic and family violence and coercive control.

While we wish you were here to celebrate this milestone, we honour you by continuing to tell your story, keep your memory alive and work towards a future where others are safer. We miss you so much. 💜

We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible response to our call for Expressions of Interest to join the Escabags Board, Fundraising & Marketing Committee, and Corporate Partnerships Committee.

Thank you to everyone who has already applied and shown interest in supporting the Escabags mission.

There’s still time to submit your Expression of Interest before applications close this Sunday 31st May.

Due to the overwhelming response, (and because there are still a few people we’d love to connect with personally before finalising decisions), our selection process will take a little longer than anticipated.

Final decisions will be discussed and agreed upon at our next Board Meeting on Thursday 18th June, and all successful applicants will be contacted during the week commencing Monday 22nd June.
