This week we attended the 2026 National Reconciliation Week Breakfast at Optus Stadium, Perth. This year's theme is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

It was a powerful morning of truth telling, featuring keynote speaker Narelda Jacobs. She deeply moved the room with her eye-opening stories and passionate calls for action.

We would like to thank Reconciliation WA for hosting us. We are committed to being All In in our approach to ongoing reconciliation.

Throwback to last month! Our CEO Karri and Child Safety Lead Sophie travelled to Melbourne to provide a range of training sessions.

Karri focussed on leadership training. We align with the approach of servant leadership. It's a philosophy that puts people and their needs first. It's about leading by example, acting with empathy, and helping others to grow and succeed.

Sophie presented on child safety. Her sessions focussed on strengthening the way we work and continuously improving child safeguarding practices.

💜We would like to congratulate Richelle from our Mangkurla-Ngaarntu Maya Children’s Service in Pannawonica. Richelle was a finalist for the Outstanding Early Childhood Educator Award at the Early Childhood Leadership & Development WA Sector Awards.

We would like to acknowledge Roman for winning the EduTribe sign-up challenge. 🎉

Roman referred an incredible 41 new members to EduTribe, helping more educators access free resources.

Roman is an Early Childhood Teacher at One Tree DCU Tingira and began his journey as a trainee.

He was supported throughout the challenge by Casi and Sasha from DCU Tingira, and has kindly passed the prize onto them.

Thank you to everyone who participated in spreading the word and supporting the educator community.

We are delighted to share that Weir Views Kindergarten has opened in Melton City Council Victoria on Wurundjeri Country.

The service was opened with an Acknowledgement of Country that included a meditation and grounding practice.

This kindergarten is part of the new Weir Views Children’s and Community Centre.

Congratulations to our incredible team who worked hard to make this opening possible.

This approach led us to opening the One Tree Wunan Garndim-banjelng Badang Yarrawoo Menewoolbtha Children's Service last year, pictured here.

This is the first service to open under the CCCFR Expansion Program in the country.

Two weeks ago we opened a second service under the Program - the One Tree Kowanyama Children’s Service.
