Dear Community,

Hola! We are reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for Spanish speakers interested in a flexible and rewarding career as an interpreter.

The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National), provided by the Department of Home Affairs, is currently seeking new interpreters in high-demand languages including Spanish.

TIS National delivers phone, video and on-site interpreting services across Australia, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As a TIS National interpreter, you can choose your own working hours while providing an essential service that helps people from diverse linguistic backgrounds access important information and services. While NAATI credentialed interpreters are preferred, TIS National also considers suitably skilled and experienced Spanish interpreters who are interested in building a career in interpreting and obtaining NAATI credentials in the future.

We’re excited to finally announce Copa del Mundo 2026 🌍⚽

This October, teams representing different countries will come together at the Spanish Club of WA for 7 Sundays of football, food, drinks and a great atmosphere.

Copa del Mundo is about more than just what happens on the pitch. It’s about bringing players, families, friends and the wider community together to enjoy the game, celebrate different cultures and be part of something bigger.

We’re currently aiming to kick things off on Sunday 11 October, with the final start date to be confirmed soon.

There’s plenty more to announce over the next few weeks, including the teams, draw, sponsors and everything happening around the tournament.

Can’t wait to get it started. 🏆

Fiesta Solidaria Venezuela 🇻🇪 | Fundraising United for Venezuela
Organised by Hispolatinos WA

Join us for a special community fundraising event in support of those most affected by the earthquake in Venezuela.

Come together for an afternoon of Venezuelan food, bingo and activities for everyone, while helping raise funds for organisations providing support on the ground.
