The Bibra Lake Primary School P&C Association is a Committee dedicated to enriching the educational experience of all students at Bibra Lake Primary School. The aim of the association is to promote the interests of Bibra Lake Primary School by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation with each other. It also seeks to assist in providing facilities and equipme
nt for the school, as well as promoting the recreation and welfare of our students. The P&C actively fundraises throughout the school to be able to provide students and parents with these additional resources. The following are some examples of how these funds have been utilised:-
New computers
Air-conditioning throughout the school
Additional sports equipment
Additional reading books
Resources for the school Chaplin outreach service
New outdoor & indoor play equipment for the Pre-Primary area
The P&C also provides services to the school to promote a balance between the students’ needs and welfare, some of these include:-
Uniform Shop
School Canteen, operating 5 days per week
Lost Property service
School Banking
Of course, these things wouldn’t happen without a dedicated group of volunteers who offer their time for no reason other than to provide the best school possible for their children. Without the efforts of our volunteers, the school would have to out-source some of these functions and the cost increase to parents would be significant. The P&C are always looking for any-one who is interested in helping out. It doesn’t matter how little or how much you can help. Even just by providing your voice to enable the P&C make the best decisions possible. The P&C only meets twice a term on Mondays during weeks 3 & 7, in the Staff Room of Bibra Lake Primary School at 7.00pm. Any-one is welcome to join in and provide us with their valuable opinions, comments or feedback. If you would like any additional information please don’t hesitate to contact any of the current members and they’d only be too happy to help.
