We get together to nurture fruits and veggies, start seedlings in our nursery, make compost, do weeding, and harvest what we've grown. We operate at the Environmental Technology Centre (ETC) - here we are creating a dynamic space for students and the wider community that offers local food growing and learning, inclusive community, career networking and collaboration, environmental education and a
sanctuary from urban city life. We also demonstrate the principals of permaculture design and organic gardening. We run workshops, gatherings and events, university-partnered education and supply fresh self-managed produce for volunteers. Due to being non-profit we have a $10 membership fee, which helps with day to day running costs. We meet at the garden every Tuesday from 3:30pm onwards - come check out the beautiful grounds for yourself and find out more, we would love to meet you and show you around.
