Networking tip of the week - Build relationships before you need them.

The best networking doesn't happen when you're desperately chasing business but when you consistently show up, support your peers and stay top of mind.

You should focus on genuine connections and real conversations, not just your sales pitch. People want to work with those they know and trust.

A bit of change of pace this week, with VP Angela stepping into the President's shoes and Harrison stepping in as VP for the day.

Education delivered by education co-ordinator Con, this week was all about fostering a positive attitude in everything you do. A great reminder for everyone in the room to always show up, even on the harder days.

Feature presenter this week was Brooke from Brooke Your Broker. She gave us valuable insights into the benefit of commercial property, different ways people and businesses can obtain commercial property and how people can leverage their SMSF for this exact thing. There were plenty of questions after Brooke's presentation which was great to see so many people engaged!

This weeks golden mic was awarded to Simone of JS Website Design for her great referral pitch.
And our lucky prize draw was won by Jade from JST Marketing - winning a gift card, supplied by our feature presenter.

We had a energetic room for this weeks meeting, with referral requests that were clear, concise and relatable.

This week's feature presenter was Emily from , who holds BNI Riverside's Corporate Gifting seat. Emily gave everyone in the room a run down on her business, why she started and how it's all going. As an added gift for everyone, Emily shared little treats with custom messaging inside to put a smile on everyone's face and elevate their experience during her presentation.

Emily's weekly prize went to Kaid from Fosker Plumbing and the Golden Mic went to Harrison from Chambers H&P Services for his story on how he assisted a client who was deaf and communicated with her via an iPad so there was still clear communication.

Education this week was hosted by Jade from JST Marketing and Natalie from Natt Gatt Brand Studio, where the importance of a strong value proposition was explained, along with direction on how members can create their own value proposition if they haven't yet gotten around to it.

What a room this week! Visitors joining us from building and carpentry, car detailing, hypnotherapy, commercial asset management, immigration law, and a business development student finding their feet.

Education brought us back to basics in the best way: visibility, credibility, profitability.

Visibility is earned, not assumed. Deliver on your promises, be honest, be timely, and acknowledge the people who trust you with their business. Show up consistently and you stay top of mind.

Credibility does the heavy lifting. It turns a warm introduction into a confident referral.

Profitability is the result. Because at the end of the day, people do business with people they know and trust.

Golden Mic to Ben Yardley from Effective Commercial bird Control for making bird control genuinely compelling. Turns out keeping shopping centres bird-free is both highly effective and seriously valued. Who knew?

Feature presentation from Angela Bichler at Sydney West Business Services proved that the best accountants do a lot more than keep the tax man happy. From acquisition due diligence to manufacturing systems, business valuations, succession planning and CGT concessions, Angela covered serious ground.

If this sounds like you then contact Angela: “I don’t understand my numbers.”“I’m buying or selling a business.”“I want to plan for growth.”

Speaker prize drawn and won by Whitney from Lava Virtual. Congrats!

And congrats to Varun from Uniko Capital, Emily from Momentum Gifting and Gerard from Abundance Call who picked up their member packs this week.

Golden Mic went to Gerard from who shared a powerful story about a client finding love through his relationship coaching.

The Feature Presentation was led by the Marketing Power Team including Carl from Jade from Simone from Emily from and Natalie from highlighting how collaboration within the group drives referrals and supports each other’s growth.
