This weeks meeting was filled with good conversations and lots of direct referral requests. We had Simone from JS Web Design step in as VP for the day and to also handle our education piece, thank you Simone!

The golden mic award this week was presented to James from Foster Wealth for his specific pitch on how he can save clients money on tax.

Our feature presenter this week was Con from Freedom Finance, who shared his insights as a broker to educate attendees on borrowing capacity when purchasing a home or investment property. The presentation gave people practical knowledge to takeaway and implement when on the buying journey.

Con's presenter prize of a $50 gift card was awarded to Ben from Effective Commercial Bird Control.

A room full of energy and new faces! This week we welcomed TWO new members!
🔹Chloe Hunter from Raine and Horne Commercial, taking the Commercial Property Management seat
🔹Razeeha Safiq from Hammond Nguyen Turnbull, taking the Lawyer Commercial Litigation seat

On Chloe's first week as a member, she has taken home the Golden Mic, awarded for her direct and clear referral request. Well done Chloe!

This week our feature presenter was Harrison from Chambers Home and Property Services. Harrison shared with the group his journey which has led him from leaving the UK and starting his own home improvement and handyman business here in Aus. Also included was some examples of how Harrison works, the services he provides and how he works with clients for the best result.

His speaker prize this week was $50 cold hard cash, which Jade from JST Marketing was the recipient of.

Education this week was delivered by Kate Rafton of Rafton Family Lawyers, explaining the importance of inviting visitors along to chapter meetings.
We also had Linda, Secretary / Treasurer rocking her Panthers gear after the Penrith Panthers record-breaking win against the Tigers over the weekend. A true demonstration of community pride!

Education tip of the week - Does your business have a clear value proposition?

A clear value proposition is what allows you to simply explain to your customers the WHAT and WHY of your offering and how it BENEFITS them. When making decisions, people rarely care about what you do or how good you are, they want to understand how you help solve their problem.

If you don't have a value proposition yet, follow this simple framework to create one: Who you help + the problem you solve + value you create + why you are different

A full room for our meeting this week, with a staggering 14 visitors in attendance! Jade from JST Marketing was our feature presenter this week where she delivered an educational presentation on "How to elevate your marketing with neuroscience".
As a thank you to her visitors, Jade brought in some cupcakes to do an additional "visitors lucky door draw" with some mars bar cupcakes from Penrith local patisserie, Paris Diana Cakes.

The winner of this week's golden mic went to James for his clever play on words being a financial GP, while offering a practical and direct referral request.
Con from Freedom Finance Group took home the speaker prize, which was a $50 voucher for local Mexican restaurant , Checho's!

There was a magnificent energy in the room this week, with visitors pointing out how welcoming and friendly Riverside members are. Our chapter was pleased to receive such wonderful feedback from so many. It's a testament to the chapter, our members and the energy every person brings each week.

Networking tip of the week - Build relationships before you need them.

The best networking doesn't happen when you're desperately chasing business but when you consistently show up, support your peers and stay top of mind.

You should focus on genuine connections and real conversations, not just your sales pitch. People want to work with those they know and trust.
