Tomorrow, we sleep out.

For us, it's one night.

For too many young people, it's NOT just one night.

In less than 24 hours, we'll be taking part in Home Sweet to help change that.

If you can, please donate. If you can't, please share.
Every act of support brings a young person one step closer to safety.

This week is National Homelessness Week, and the message couldn't be more important: Homelessness Action Now.

Every statistic represents a young person who deserves safety, stability and the opportunity to build a brighter future.

At Platform Youth Services, we see both the growing need and the incredible resilience of the young people we support. Every day, our team helps young people find safe housing, reconnect with family and community, and take steps towards independence.

To our staff, volunteers, partners and supporters, thank you. Your compassion and commitment make a life-changing difference.

This Friday, we'll come together at Home Sweet to raise awareness, stand in solidarity and help break the cycle of youth homelessness.

📰 Did you catch Friday's issue of Nepean News?

Our CEO, Stephanie Oatley, featured on the cover alongside Andrew McAnulty (CEO - Link Wentworth Housing), Paul Coe (CEO - Birribee Housing), and Panthers legend Mark Geyer OAM, who has proudly signed on as the very first Ambassador for the Home Sweet Sleepout.

It's fantastic when local leaders and community champions come together to shine a light on homelessness and the collective role we all play in supporting people in our community.

With the Home Sweet Sleepout taking place on Friday 7 August, we're looking forward to joining our partners and the community for what will be, a fantastic event!

We're so grateful to be one of the beneficiaries of this years Home Sweet Sleepout. 💙

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this event possible and to those who have signed up to sleep out in support of young people experiencing homelessness.

Every dollar raised helps us continue providing safe accommodation, support and opportunities for young people in our community.

If you'd like to get involved or support the cause, we'd love to have you on board. Together, we can help break the cycle of youth homelessness.

This weekend one of our incredible staff members completed the Ultra Trail 50km event and we could not be prouder.

We often say our team are superhuman, but watching this achievement unfold truly highlighted the determination, resilience and commitment that exists within our people every single day.

50 kilometres. Countless hills, challenges, moments of exhaustion and perseverance… and they kept going.

And as if that inspiration wasn’t enough, another one of our amazing staff members recently completed the iconic New York City Marathon, an extraordinary accomplishment on the world stage and another example of the passion and perseverance within our team.

The same drive for excellence that carries them across finish lines is the same passion they bring to Platform and the young people we support every day.

Congratulations to both of these incredible humans, you inspire all of us. 💪🏽🏃‍♀️✨
