The Penrith Men's Walk and Talk is a Defence Community, Veterans and their families, friendly environment for all Men. A relaxed social get together with a free Cuppa followed by a walk of your choosing. There’s no pressure to walk the whole track, just go along, meet people and walk as little or as much as you like.

City of Penrith RSL sub-Branch, Sports and Recreation News:

Our Sports and Recreation Program is off and running. Our first ''Free Gym'' session was conducted on Tuesday and Members enjoyed the great facilities under the friendly supervision of Paris.

Free Gym access is available to our sub-Branch Members and Partners locally (this includes veterans, volunteers and their partners). The Gym provides access to the facilities only, no classes, physio or rehab are provided. Friendly, safe guidance will be shared.

The supervised Gym session is conducted every Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30am, the Free Gym Membership (sponsored by the sub-Branch) also includes other low cost opportunities available within the Gym.

A signed letter of reference is required and can be obtained from the Office during open times (Mon to Thurs between 9:30am to 2:30pm).

ADF Community, Partners & Children Get Together.

The City of Penrith RSL sub-Branch invited the partners & children of ADF Members to gather, connect & socialise at the Penrith RSL Club on Friday night, 29 May 2026. The first event of this type for serving families, locally.

The event was organised by Melissa, who is one of our energetic Wellbeing Support Oficers and the wife of a current serving RAAF Member. Approx 90 partners and children attended, enjoying pizzas for dinner and a social connection.

Credit to Melissa, for her initiative and energy. We are very lucky to have her on our Team, dedicated to support Veterans and their families locally.

All veterans and partners are invited to join in our monthly Barefoot Bowls this Friday at 10.00am at St Marys Diggers Club.

$5 for an hour's fun followed by coffee and bickies in the Club.
