Today, more than 70 unpaid carers gathered at the Carers' BIG Lunch in Silverton, NSW to connect, share stories, enjoy a delicious lunch and listen to the music of Adam Harvey.

This National Carers Week (11–17 October), we recognise and celebrate the millions of people who provide care and support to family members, friends and loved ones.

To all carers, thank you for the time, care and commitment you give to others, often while balancing responsibilities of your own. The difference you make in people’s lives and in our communities deserves to be recognised.

All our vehicles are equipped with Tap & Go, and our drivers can guide you through the payment process, ensuring a quick, easy, and secure way for you to pay for your journeys.

The Australian Government has extended the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) to 30 June 2029, providing greater certainty for older Australians who rely on these essential supports.

This means CHSP will continue as a standalone program, with no disruption to current services.

We welcome this decision and look forward to continuing to support older people to live independently, safely and connected to their communities.
