Locally, these groups provide mother to mother breastfeeding information and support. Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) Orange Group
The purpose of this page is to keep you up-to-date on the latest happenings with our local group. We are unable to assist with breastfeeding questions on this page, as counselling cannot be provided due to the lack of confidentiality and privacy on
Facebook. Please speak to one of our qualified Breastfeeding Counsellors at a local meeting, or call the Breastfeeding Helpline on 1800mum2mum (1800 686 268). ABA Orange Group generally holds fortnightly meeting in Orange. Each meeting has a discussion topic, and sometimes will have a guest speaker. We encourage women to join in our discussions, by asking questions, sharing experiences, or simply by taking it all in. We have a social catchup and morning tea at the end of each meeting. A qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor is present at every meeting. Everyone is welcome at our meetings, no matter how you feed your baby! We strive to provide a safe, inclusive environment, with practical mother-to-mother support. Fathers, older siblings, and support people are welcome to join our mums and mums-to-be at meetings. Visitors may attend two meetings before joining as an ABA member. To find out more about the benefits of becoming an ABA member and to join, please visit the ABA website www.breastfeeding.asn.au or email our group [email protected]
