Forty seven members and friends joined us for our annual trip to the historic Amusu Theatre at Manildra on Sunday, and what a day it turned out to be!
The journey began at Orange Railway Station under teeming rain, with the weather throwing just about everything at us throughout the morning. Along the way we encountered rain, patches of fog and grey skies, but as often happens on a Gnoo Blas outing, the weather eventually smiled upon us with the sun peeking out from behind clouds by the time we emerged from the theatre.
Before the movie, everyone enjoyed a relaxed morning tea and the chance to catch up with friends old and new. One pleasant surprise was that the theatre seemed much warmer than on some of our previous winter visits, making for a very comfortable viewing experience.
The movie, Used Cars, gave us an insight into the realities and secrets of this time honoured industry!
Following the movie, most of the group made their way to the Manildra Golf Club for lunch and more conversation, rounding off what was a thoroughly enjoyable day of friendships and good company.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the outing such a success. Days like these remind us that the Gnoo Blas Classic Car Club is about much more than cars – it’s a community in motion
