HI all,
Quick reminder that we start back on Monday parade nights tomorrow at 16:30.
We have a jam packed year this year and we can't wait to get started!

As it is a new year there has obviously been some changes within the unit. We will have a new Cadet Leadership team as well as some new recruits coming to join us.

If you aren't able to make it tomorrow night then please reply to this message as a courtesy.

Lastly, a shout out to parents and others that want to come down and assist on a Monday night or even potentially join the unit as an ACS. We are always looking for help whether it is one hour on a Monday once a month, or every other Monday, or a full-on commitment where you can do Mondays, Bivs and everything!
Please reach out to me if you want to help out because we are only as strong a unit as our volunteer staff allows us to be!

See you tomorrow!

2025 is almost over and what a year it has been!
The staff here at 252 ACU Orange would like to thank all cadets and their families for a great year!
2025 has seen us acheive numerous first and complete some amazing activities.
We've had visits from the Commanders of both NSW 1st Brigade and Australian Army Cadets.
We have run a multi-unit bivouac with cadets from 5 seperate units within our battalion.
We've had cadets go on promotion and elective courses including STEM and Marksmanship.
We have welcomed new staff and aprticipated in a number of community events alongside the City of Orange RSL Sub-Branch.
All in all it has been a year to remember... and 2026 is only going to be better!
We will soon be publishing our calendar for cadets and staff and it is jam packed!

Good luck to all those cadets and staff going on promotion courses in early January. We look forward to hearing some of the stories from the events.
We will see you all again for our first parade night of the year on Monday 2nd of February

Hi all,
Unfortunately the activity for this weekend had not been approved by yesterday and as such we are unable to run it.
I apologise for the late notice, but I was hopeful that the delay in approval was due to CadetNet being upgraded and unavailable for a few weeks but with the amount of logistics to organise for transport, training and catering it got to a point where I could not get it done safely.

We do have our end of year parade and dinner coming up fast and one last Bunnings BBQ for the year. so there is still a lot on our plate and things for the cadets to do leading into 2026.

We have also written our Parade Card for 2026 which we will be sending out with cadets soon so that families can start to plan in advance.

Once again, I'm sorry that the event isn't able to continue and I hope you have a good weekend anyway.

Mudgee has been and gone, now the bus is off to Lithgow to drop off the 220ACU Cadets and then to Orange...
Updated ETA is 1630...
Please remember that cadets will need to assist in unloading any gear and helping restock it. Many hands make it a short process!
