This week we welcomed the RSLNSW media team to our branch. We were interviewed for an upcoming media release about our Wellbeing Support Officers roles in the branch and our links with RSLNSW.

Stella has joined the 120km Bravery Trek to raise money for veterans and their families.
The Trek starts Oct 1st. ‘Looking forward to reaching my goal’ .
So far she has raised $250. Please join her to support our veterans.

🌙🚀 Calling all our little Space Kids! 🚀🌙

On 19 September, people all over the world will be looking up for International Observe the Moon Night - an annual celebration led by NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration that brings people together to observe, learn about and celebrate our Moon. You can join an event, host your own or simply head outside and observe from home.

And we wanted our Defence Kidz to join the fun! 🧑‍🚀✨

So Andi has put on the space suit and we’ve created a special International Observe the Moon Night colouring-in sheet featuring our three AUKUS nations 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧.

🖍️ Print it. Colour it. Look up at the Moon. And get involved!

Whether our military kids are in Adelaide, Washington, London or somewhere completely different, there’s something pretty special about knowing we can all look up at the same Moon. 🌏🌙

And we want to see your creations!

Print our colouring sheet, let your Defence Kid get creative, then take a photo and tag so we can share some of their masterpieces. Bonus points if you get a photo of your artwork with the Moon! 📸🌙

NASA also has Moon maps, observing tips and hands-on activities to help families explore, so make a night of it! 💗
