The 2026 Innovate with nbn® Grants Program is now open, with $125,000 in grant funding available across seven categories, including the new Innovation for Productivity category.

Regional businesses can apply for:
🏆 $15,000 for each category winner
🎯 $20,000 for the overall Champion

Whether you're developing a new product, improving productivity, embracing technology or exploring innovative ways to grow, this program could help bring your ideas to life.

The best conversations about the future of regional NSW happen when the region's leaders are in the room.

Business NSW Regional Leaders recently gathered in Orange for an exclusive breakfast conversation with Essential Energy CEO, John Cleland. The discussion explored leadership, innovation, workforce challenges, the energy transition and the opportunities shaping the future of our regional communities.

A big thank you to John for generously sharing his insights and experience, and to our valued partners, Essential Energy and Orange City Council, for supporting this important conversation.

One of the greatest strengths of the Regional Leaders network is the opportunity to connect directly with influential decision-makers, share perspectives and engage in meaningful discussions on the issues that matter most to our region.

As the Inland NSW Regional Leaders Forum came to a close, we asked delegates one question: What action will you take following this forum?

The responses shared a common focus:
• Promoting Inland NSW as a place to live, work, invest and do business
• Collaborating across regions rather than competing with one another
• Driving practical outcomes that benefit our communities
• Continuing conversations around a circular economy and future opportunities

The real impact of forums like this isn't what happens in the room. It's the action that follows.

During the Inland NSW Regional Leaders Forum, we asked attendees one simple question: What was your biggest takeaway from Day 1?

While every response was different, several themes emerged:

It was encouraging to hear such a strong focus on working together to support stronger businesses, thriving communities and a more prosperous future for Inland NSW.

The 2026 Western NSW Business Awards wrapped up in Orange last Friday and what an incredible celebration of the talent, resilience and innovation across our region.
