🌿 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT |

Some destinations are special. Willinga Park is truly in a league of its own.

Set across an extraordinary 2,400 acres of South Coast countryside, Willinga Park is one of our region’s most impressive destinations - bringing together art, nature, accommodation, food, wellbeing, community events and world class equestrian experiences in one spectacular setting.

Every detail of Willinga Park feels considered. Wander through beautifully landscaped grounds and discover more than 30 large scale works along the Sculpture Trail, stay in one of the stunning Pavilions surrounded by nature or experience the Park through its calendar of equestrian competitions, events, long lunches, music and special occasions.

Beyond the incredible setting, what we particularly love about Willinga Park is its commitment to creating experiences that bring people together and showcase just how much the South Coast has to offer. It’s a destination that attracts people to our region, encourages them to stay, explore and experience more.

For the Willinga Park team, that sense of community is equally important. They value the opportunity to connect with the talented producers, hospitality businesses and people who make the Shoalhaven food scene what it is and the way our local businesses continue to support and inspire one another. It's because of this that we’re incredibly proud to have Willinga Park as part of the Shoalhaven Food Network community.

If you haven’t experienced Willinga Park yet, add it to the list. Their advice is to plan your visit around one of their upcoming events or open days and give yourself plenty of time to take it all in.

Bumpy Road Catering and Events is looking for a talented Chef to join the Bumpy Road Catering team! 👨‍🍳

Your next chapter starts here!

We're looking for a talented Chef to join the Bumpy Road Catering team on the NSW South Coast, and this is not your average kitchen job.

Think lavish wedding feasts, intimate dinner parties, food festivals from our retro vans, gelato carts and pop-ups. No two days look the same, and that's exactly the point. We work with incredible local produce, stunning South Coast venues, and a team that genuinely loves what they do.

Why Bumpy Road?

We're a multi-award winning catering business with a reputation that speaks for itself:
🏆 Winner Wedding Industry Award 2026, Shoalhaven & South Coast
🏆 Winner Wedding Caterer 2025, Shoalhaven & South Coast
🏆 Winner Australian Wedding Awards 2025
🏆 State Winner, Australian Wedding Awards 2024
🏆 Business of the Year & Excellence in Tourism & Hospitality, Shoalhaven Business Awards 2023
🏆 Top 5 Wedding Caterer in Australia, AWA Awards 2022 & 2023

We book out at least six months in advance, run a minimum of two weddings per week plus multiple other events, and have strong relationships with venues across the region. This is a thriving, community-focused business with real career progression.

What the role looks like:
A 38 hour week across 4-5 days, with approximately 1-2 evening events per week. A modern kitchen where your culinary creativity is genuinely valued. A people-first culture where great food and good vibes go hand in hand.

What we're looking for:
Cert III in Commercial Cookery, a natural team leader who can train and elevate those around them, someone who thinks on their feet and takes pride in consistent, quality food.

If this sounds like the role you've been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you. Send your resume to [email protected]

🐝 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT |

Surrounded by native bushland in Jervis Bay, The Cafe by Bay and Bush is a place where seasonal food, local produce and the natural beauty of the South Coast come together.

Part of Bay and Bush Nature Retreat, the cafe takes a relaxed, seasonal approach to its menu, making the most of locally available ingredients and showcasing produce from across the region wherever possible. Add beautifully made coffee and a peaceful bushland setting and it’s the kind of spot that invites you to stay a little longer.

That connection to place extends well beyond the cafe. Bay and Bush is also home to accommodation, wellness experiences and its own apiary, creating a wonderful link between the food being served, the surrounding environment and the broader Jervis Bay experience.

Supporting local is an important part of their philosophy, with the team working alongside South Coast producers across their food and drinks offering and continually looking for new opportunities to showcase the people who grow, make and produce within our region.

Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, settling in for lunch or simply enjoying a coffee surrounded by nature, The Cafe by Bay and Bush offers a chance to slow down and experience a different side of Jervis Bay.

We’re proud to have The Cafe by Bay and Bush as a Shoalhaven Food Network member, joining a community of local growers, producers, makers and hospitality businesses working together to celebrate the incredible food, produce and experiences found throughout the Shoalhaven.

🥩 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT |

Tucked away in Conjola, Martins Ridge Farm is a family-run farm where the connection between paddock and plate is about as close as it gets.

Ian, Tina and Rhys Martin ethically raise their own pigs and cattle on the farm, with the meat processed through their on farm butchery before making its way to farmers markets, selected South Coast retailers and their own Farm Shop.

But there’s much more happening at Martins Ridge than farming and butchery.
As qualified chefs, Ian and Tina bring their produce into the kitchen too, hosting local produce dinners from their on farm event space. From October through to March, the farm also comes alive every second Sunday for pizza nights, with their own farm grown produce taking centre stage.

For those keen to get even closer to the process, Martins Ridge runs an immersive two day Charcuterie Course. Beginning with a whole pig, participants learn traditional techniques to create everything from prosciutto and salami to bacon and a range of other pork products - sharing skills that connect farming, butchery and food craftsmanship.

It’s this whole of farm approach that makes Martins Ridge such a special part of our local food community - raising animals with care, processing on farm, sharing knowledge and creating experiences that celebrate where our food comes from.

We’re proud to have Martins Ridge Farm as a Shoalhaven Food Network member, alongside the growers, producers, makers and hospitality businesses working together to strengthen our region’s food story.
