What an awesome morning we had at our Good Morning Noosaville - Deadly Espresso Cafe coffee catch-up on Friday!

Over 40 wonderful people turned up while the sun was shining, and it was great to network with so many other local businesses. We were treated to the most incredible coffee, delicious bush plum bushtucker bakes, and warm hospitality at Deadly Espresso on Gympie Terrace.

It’s the only bush tucker cafe on the Sunshine Coast, and it was so special to hear the inspiring stories behind the social enterprise SevGen (Seven Generations). Their work celebrating Indigenous culture and creating real opportunities for young people in our community is genuinely uplifting.

A massive thank you to Bank of Queensland - BOQ Noosa Civic for sponsoring the FREE coffee brew – you helped make the morning extra special!

The Noosaville Business Association is pleased to invite members and guests to a special Economic Update presented by Peter Munckton, Chief Economist at Bank of Queensland.

As a valued member of the NBA and sponsor of our popular NBA Coffee Catch-Ups, the team from Bank of Queensland - BOQ Noosa Civic has extended this invitation to our business community.

Peter is renowned for his ability to make complex economic trends easy to understand. While he typically presents on global and national economic issues, this event will focus on what matters most to us here on the Sunshine Coast, providing valuable local insights for businesses, investors, and professionals.

With more than ten years as Chief Economist at Bank of Queensland, Peter brings a wealth of experience from senior economics and strategy roles at the Federal Treasury, Bankers Trust, and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. He has also co-authored influential reports on the Australian and Chinese financial systems that attracted significant national and international media attention.

Questions from the floor are welcome, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss the economic issues most relevant to their business and industry.
