Noosa parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Noosa, approximately 130km North of Brisbane's C*D. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Are you ‘RED’y for wear RED for Daniel this Saturday? Combine this with Tri weekend and Halloween…

Our regular volunteer plus extras are filled. However traditionally Tri weekend is BIG! If you arrive early and are able to assist with crowd control ie parking directions, answer any visitor questions, we’d love it if you could speak with us when you arrive.

To answer your most pressing question: Hell yeah, we’re on tomorrow!!!

And in more good news, while it may not be the best day to test your flash new white runners, no need to dig out the flippers either.

Some water running over the track here and there, but no swimming competencies required.

parkwalk for Daniel 2026
To support the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and Day for Daniel, parkrun will be hosting parkwalk for Daniel on Saturday 31st October, providing our community with an opportunity to come together, show our support and help raise awareness of child safety.
Noosa parkrun has registered to participate and get involved by wearing red, talking about parkrun safeguarding, promoting fundraising opportunities and using to show our support. This year, the educational focus is on creating safe spaces for children, online and offline. By taking part, we are helping children and young people learn how to Recognise, React and Report, while honouring Daniel’s memory.
