NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK: 27 MAY – 3 JUNE

This National Reconciliation Week, we’re reminded that reconciliation takes all of us and we join communities across Australia in embracing the 2026 theme, All In.
Together, we can continue working toward a future built on respect, connection, and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories, and futures.

See how you can support this year’s 'All in’ theme > https://www.reconciliation.org.au/our-work/national-reconciliation-week/

Ross House recognises the traditional custodians of the land in which we live and work, and pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging.

πŸŽ‰πŸπŸ  This time last week we celebrated World Bee Day and what a buzzz it was! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Ross House members and tenants came together to enjoy a delicious morning tea on World Bee Day, Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

🐝 World Bee Day honors the critical role bees play in global food security and biodiversity. 🍯

Along with the yummy food (honey a big ingredient!) we had the pleasure of bee expert, Robert of Bee Sustainable, talk to us about bee keeping and the importance of bees. 🌻🐝🌳

We Thankyou Robert for your entertaining and informative talk and bringing in some of your hive friends for us all to see. πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ

(If you would like more information on Bee Sustainable or are interested in attending a Beekeeping Workshop please see the links below πŸ‘‡)

20 years of growth 🌱

These trees were once tiny seedlings, grown and planted by our amazing TreeProject volunteers. Two decades on, they stand as a powerful reminder of what community, care and long term commitment to our environment can achieve.

This National Volunteer Week, we celebrate every volunteer who has helped make lasting change possible.

Your year to volunteer could help shape the next 20 years and beyond.
