Hey everyone, this month we are going pink in honour of Dee Freitag the Founder of Halo Team Inc. Baylee and Indyah will be dying their hair pink tomorrow🩷

For those of you are new here, Dee was such a passionate person who cared so deeply for each and every person she helped and even though she was fighting her long battle with breast cancer for 4 years she still woke up every day determined to make another person smile. Dee was so passionate about Halo and helping the community.

Dee was also a wife to Kurt and a mother to 4 children Baylee, Tyler, Cooper and Nate, She was wonder woman and always managed to put everyone in her life first.

Unfortunately after a long brave fight she passed away in May of 2023. Since then there has always been a hole in our team’s hearts and we are wanting to help in anyway we can.

Hey everyone, we here at Halo are currently running low on food, and are unable to provide food hampers each week currently, our community kitchen is also struggling with our numbers rising each week. We are currently feeding about 60 people each week day and about 80 on a weekend.

We are currently asking for the support of the community with food items to go in our hampers, and to our community kitchen these items are listed below ☺️

If you are able to donate please contact Baylee or Indy on 9586 2245 or drop your pantry donations to the op shop at 3 Gibson street 💜

We would like to thank the community for all donations, whether they be food for our welfare side, household good for our op shop everything that is donated helps us continue our services and without all of the community’s support we would not be able to do what we do 🤗💜

We would like to also just like to say that while we appreciate all support please ensure when you are dropping of donations that you talk to a staff member first.

Keep in mind that our household donations in the shop are accepted between
9am and 3pm between Monday and Friday Saturday donations are accepted between 9am and 12pm 😊

❗️While we appreciate your support we also would appreciate if you please wait to drop your donations till we are open as we do not condone dumping any items outside the gate or on the block next door ❗️
