Help us deliver Christmas hope to local families.
This year, Gift of Christmas is taking on a new journey. The Christmas Express is bringing together local organisations, businesses, schools, churches and community groups to help deliver food, gifts and hope to families doing it tough across Mandurah and the Bindjareb region.

Every donation becomes part of the journey, from the moment it is collected at a Station of Hope to the moment it reaches a family at Christmas.

It was lovely to be part of Wellness Wednesday as part of WA Mental Health Week 💙

For almost 20 years, Peel Wellness Wednesday has brought the Mandurah community together to connect with local health, wellbeing and support services.

Our Money Mentors team enjoyed getting out into the community, having a chat with locals and sharing information about our free financial counselling service.

Financial stress can have a big impact on our overall wellbeing, so we’re proud to be part of events like this that help connect people with support when they need it.

We’re looking for a Volunteer Receptionist!

Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in your community?

Money Mentors is looking for a friendly and organised Volunteer Receptionist to join our team at our Mandurah-based office.

Our reception volunteers play an important role in making clients feel welcome and supporting our team with the day-to-day running of the office.

What you’ll be helping with:

Greeting and welcoming clients
Answering and directing phone calls
Helping with appointment bookings
Assisting with basic enquiries about our services
General administration, filing and data entry
Mail and other day-to-day office tasks
Keeping our reception area welcoming and organised

We’re looking for someone who:

Enjoys helping and talking with people
Has good communication and organisational skills
Is comfortable using a computer
Can handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Has a positive and friendly attitude

Previous reception or administration experience is helpful but not essential. We’ll provide training and support.

Location: Mandurah-based office
Availability: Mondays, Fridays or every 2nd Thursday
Duration: Ongoing

Volunteering with Money Mentors is a great opportunity to gain experience, meet new people and contribute to a service that supports people experiencing financial hardship.

Taryn from Money Mentors will be at Future Ready Kwinana tomorrow!

If you’re aged 16–24 and looking for support with employment, education, training or just figuring out what options are available, come along and have a chat with the local support services.

Taryn will be there to chat about free financial counselling and how Money Mentors can support young people with managing their money, budgeting and getting on top of financial issues.

Our community is coming together this Homelessness Awareness
Week 🙌
From Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 August, local organisations will be at Mandurah Forum as part of the Kindness Collective.

Drop by between 9 am and 1 pm to meet local service providers, learn more about homelessness in our community and find out what support is available for people doing it tough.

Homelessness is not always visible 🏠
It may look like a family living in their car, a young person moving between temporary places or someone staying in an unsafe situation because they have nowhere else to go. Homelessness can affect people from all walks of life, and sometimes the people who need support are closer than we realise.

Visit the Kindness Collective at Mandurah Forum from 3-5 August to learn more.

No one organisation can do it alone 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
People experiencing homelessness may also need help with food, health, housing, finances, family support, legal matters or family and domestic violence. That is why the Kindness Collective is bringing local organisations together, to make services easier to find and help people connect with the right support 💙
