WELCOME BACK FROM THE FITZY TUCKERBOX!
We’re back and looking forward to another busy term making plenty of yummy food for our Fitzy kids!
We’ve got some great specials planned throughout Term 4, so make sure you keep an eye on Flexischools and our page to see what’s coming!
We’d also like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our PCYC holiday service and Parent Take-Home Meals over the school holidays. We’re very pleased to report that both were a great success!
Because of this, both will be returning for the Christmas holidays, with some revised opening days and hours. We’ll share all the details closer to the end of term.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED
As always, we would absolutely love some extra hands in the tuckshop. Even an hour or two makes a difference, with Thursdays and Fridays being the days we could especially use some help. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, come in and join us — we’d love to have you!
AND SOMETHING NEW FOR OUR YEAR 6 STUDENTS…
We are constantly being asked by the kids, “Why can’t we work in the tuckshop?”
Well… now some of them can!
After discussions with school administration, we’re excited to offer selected Year 6 students the opportunity to spend some time helping out in the tuckshop.
This will give our senior students a chance to experience a little bit of responsibility, teamwork and what goes on behind the scenes to keep our tuckshop running.
Consent forms and further information will be sent home in the coming weeks.
We’re really excited to give this a go, and if all goes well, we hope this is something we can continue and build on — giving more Fitzy kids opportunities like this in the years to come.
