Lismore parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7:00am in Lismore, NSW, Australia. Lismore parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to

those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 4 times per year.

Well what a glorious spring morning we had today where 134 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 13 were first timers and 26 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 7 different clubs took part.

All parkruns are brought to you by volunteers, time to highlight some of them today.

We had visitors from Brisbane, Mudgereeba and Perth. We also had lots of first timers from Caniaba and Lismore, hope to see you next week.

We also celebrated Tracey Webster 25th parkrun,congratulations.

Lismore parkrun started on 2nd April 2016. Since then 5,392 participants have completed 49,570 parkruns covering a total distance of 247,850 km, including 7,544 new Personal Bests. A total of 656 individuals have volunteered 6,577 times.
