Jubullum: Mondays & Wednesdays

🏥 Medical Transport
Transport to medical appointments is available for eligible clients. Please book at least two business days ahead.

❤️ Funeral Transport Assistance
Fuel assistance may be available for eligible First Nations clients over 50. Conditions apply and bookings must be made at least two business days prior.

🦵💪 Movement Monday: Seated Leg Raises

This week's Movement Monday exercise is Seated Leg Raises! This simple chair-based exercise helps strengthen your legs, improve circulation, and support mobility and balance.

How to do it:
Sit comfortably in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. Slowly straighten one leg out in front of you, hold for a second, then lower it back down. Repeat with the other leg, alternating at a comfortable pace.

⭐ This week's challenge:
Complete 10 leg raises on each leg, have a short rest, then see if you can do another round!

👋 Meet Rod! Rod is one of HART's wonderful volunteer drivers. He helps transport our clients to and from local appointments throughout the community, providing a friendly face and helping people stay connected to the services they need.

The Casino Mates Social Bus enjoyed a lovely morning tea this week at Picabeen Park. With delicious fresh scones, a warm cuppa, and great company, it was the perfect way to spend the morning.

There were plenty of laughs, chats, and time to relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings. It's always wonderful to see friendships grow and memories being made on our social bus outings.

We can't wait for the next adventure! 🚍

Another fantastic day out for our Casino "Out For A While" Social Bus group! 🚍☀️

The group enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Lunatic Hotel in Drake, with plenty of laughs, great conversation, and wonderful company along the way.

After lunch, they stopped at the Observatory in Mallanganee. Every group that visits is amazed by this unique structure and the stunning views it offers.

We're already looking forward to next month's adventure to the Lennox Head Bowling Club. With a little luck, our travellers might even spot a few whales while they're there! 🐋

These outings are all about friendship, fun, and exploring the beautiful places our region has to offer.
