Africa Day Festival 2026: A Celebration of Success. The day it was!

Africa Day Festival 2026 was a remarkable event filled with joy, unity, and celebration. We extend our warm thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, the Police Department (QPS), our liaison officers, and the businesses that provided delicious foods and goods. Your contributions were invaluable in making this event a resounding success.

The Africa Day Festival brought together people from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Africa. The music, dance, and vibrant displays created an atmosphere of festivity and camaraderie.

Our sincere appreciation extends to the local government representatives, state government representatives, and federal government representatives who participated in the Africa Day Festival. Your presence and support were deeply valued, and they significantly contributed to the overall success of the event.
Thank you to each of you for your commitment and dedication. Your involvement exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and unity that Africa Day Festival stands for.

We would also like to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of our MCs, Vice President Belleange Tamati and President Antony Mbugua, keynote speakers, Dr Joseph Yunis, and Seblework Tadesse Your engaging presentations and eloquence added a special touch to the festival, making each moment memorable for all attendees.

Thank you to our sponsors, Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, local businesses and friends.

We also express our gratitude to the community leaders who worked tirelessly alongside us to make Africa Day Festival a success. Your leadership and commitment to the community were evident in every aspect of the festival.

Special thanks to the QACC executive team for your tireless effort in organizing and coordinating the festival. Your dedication and hard work ensured that every detail was perfect, and the event ran smoothly.

We are already looking forward to next year's Africa Day Festival, and we are confident it will be even better. With the continued support of our sponsors, volunteers, and community, we can create an event that celebrates the spirit of Africa and brings people together in joy and unity.

Thank you all for making Africa Day Festival 2026 an unforgettable experience!

Happy Africa Day.

Africa Arise โœŠ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŒ
Africa, arise from the ashes of yesterday,
Stand tall in the light of a brand-new day.
Your story is not of pain alone,

But of kingdoms built and greatness grown.
From the Nile to the Cape, your heartbeat drums,

A rhythm of hope that forever hums.
In every child, a future untold,
In every hand, a power of gold.
Arise in unity, rise in pride,

Let purpose and vision be your guide.
No longer waiting, no longer still,
You carry the strength, the mind, the will.
Let leaders lead with truth and grace,

Let justice and peace define this place.
Let youth awaken, bold and wise,
With fearless dreams that touch the skies.
Africa, you are not behindโ€”
You are the future, redefined.

With every step, with every voice,
Arise, awaken, itโ€™s your choice.
Africa Arise. The time is now. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
