Our community achieved an A+ report card this year - but our toughest assignment is still ahead of us. 🍎

Thanks to your incredible support, commonkind has provided essential hunger, poverty, and wellbeing relief to over 8,000 fellow Australians.

A recent success is our Bowl Lotta Love Breakfast Box program, providing breakfast to South East Queensland schools. But the "homework" isn't quite finished yet.

Right now, more than 150 schools in our region are on a waiting list, eager to join the program so their hungry students can start the day ready to learn.

We are 100% volunteer-run, meaning every single dollar you give goes directly into food security for these kids. As tax time approaches, your donation can make a massive structural difference. All gifts over $2 are tax-deductible.

This support means we can deliver even more relief to communities in need and reach more schools and educators, helping students turn empathy into action through guided service pathways. By providing these age-appropriate opportunities, we are working together to build a kinder Australia for every child.

Today’s theme is about challenging social isolation. At Commonkind, we’ve seen how our beneficial intergenerational connection is to combat social isolation and loneliness - replacing silence with laughter and stories.

When a child sits down to share a drawing or a story, they are building a friendship that protects against isolation for both ages.

Today, we join our community in quiet reflection to honour the Anzac spirit. It is a day to remember the sacrifices made by brave Australians and New Zealanders, and to think about the values of mateship and selflessness that continue to shape our country.

Whether you attended a Dawn Service or are wearing a sprig of rosemary at home, we hope you find a meaningful moment to pause and remember.
