When you run a charity organisation the more people and organisations that can work with are very necessary so when Ipswich Assist who have given us referrals mostly to the homeless in the bush and one memorable ones like the couple out at Wulkuraka in the bush which we are happy to be told recently that she has now had her baby and is now no longer living in the bush which is fantastic. They did a referral to Sonya from managing pain employment to our charity who also have some of the homeless community on their books we were more then happy to help with some camping gear for this 60 year old homeless man who is suffering from chronic pain and living in the bush. Sonya is doing a wonderful job helping the homeless as do a lot of carers from different organisations which we would like to give a big shout out to in thanks. We also sent 2 lots of people to Goodna Street Life Inc OP Shop and The Haven to
receive food and clothing. In the charity world it’s all about networking and helping each other as many hands make light work. And this is exactly how the charity world should be working TOGETHER. Ipswich assist have done abit of everything for the community and we love everything they do also we urge everyone to check out their store Restore where the prices are extremely cheap in today’s economy.

This week we focused on people out of homelessness and we were very happy to do a referral for Patricia Mills from Harvest Angels Inc. who does wonderful work in the community and has helped people in need for a very long time. And every referral she has given to us we have made sure that we have helped them. So thank you so very much Patricia ❤️ also a very big thank you to Lavern for helping a senior in the community that needed these medical aids and we happily donated to. And Danny Jnr enjoyed catching up with her yesterday and she also does a lot in the community behind the scenes. And also a big thank you to everyone who donated this week we had people from Wacol to Springfield lakes who actually dropped off which was fantastic. And a very big thank you to the lovely lady from SA who donated a lovely lounge and dryer which went straight out on Friday everything we picked up from 3 different locations went straight out to people in need and this is how we’ve been running our charity. Also we were surprised with how small they’re making the laundry rooms in units as we could not even fit the washing machine in but at least he now has one and a dryer and couch. We are now looking for a fridge as we have finally actually run out of something. So if anyone in the community is able to donate one please do let us know. Now it’s time for family time and hope everyone has a great weekend ❤️

Yesterday we decided to actually do a post we haven’t needed to as we have been getting lots of donations and lots of people in need so a very big thank you to the community especially Brassall and Redbank and also a special shout out to the lovely people at Redbank Palms Resort for their amazing donations and actually helped to fill the van which went straight out to the community all in one day on Friday. We managed to help a DV survivor and also a single mum whose teenage son was extremely helpful and actually came out to help carry the freezer up the stairs. Also a big shout out to Jason from Goodna Street Life Inc OP Shop who reached out to us for household items as he has just moved back into a house and is once again helping out Goodna street life as he was many years ago when we first met and it was good to catch up again and we recommend the community check out the Goodna street life op shop where Jason is now the manger. And also Danny and Jason after many years seemed to be continuing their mowmance 😂
And a very big thank you to the many people who have been donating we are still around and with so very much support from the community and will continue to be. And also this is one of the cute dogs that we met on our travels which Danny Jnr wanted to of course take home and we are very grateful for their kind donations. And Danny Jnr slept like a baby which was great and he had fun aswell ❤️ and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend it’s now time for family time

We have been doing our usual charity work and have done some DV related jobs we have also helped some of the homeless regulars but not all as we have a respect for respect policy. We would also like to inform the community that we will be having 7 days off starting from today as sometimes even we need a break from charity work. Also we went to the fully charged at Ipswich Rail Workshops and Museum Cafe for their trains, planes and automobiles show which Danny Jnr absolutely loved the ADF and the vehicles on display one day were hoping to get him into the cadets which we learned all about today and also it was good to hear that they’re was so many autistic people in the Australian forces. Also a big shout out to qps and their stall which gave away free colouring activities for the children and exciting sit down on a real police bike which Danny Jnr of course loved. We hope everyone has a great weekend and we look forward to being back in a weeks time ❤️

We have been very busy doing what we have always done. We took food to some homeless in need staying at hotels and 1 in the bush. We also got to meet a very cute new homeless dog. And also helped 5 people who used to go to our street feeds some with food hampers and some with furniture and white goods. We would also like to say a very big thank you to the people behind the scenes who have been helping and supporting our charity organisation and also to Ruth Bayer of the The Music Curiosity Shoppe who without her constant support we would not be able to continue doing what we do for the community 100% for free. Also a very big thank you to Chris for helping helping us today who also used to go to our street feeds and who volunteered to help us with furniture for Meghan who most people know as a bit of an icon in Ipswich and goes to most of the street feeds and who Danny Jnr loves catching up with ❤️ and also a very big shout out to her friend Debbie for also helping to make this possible today. Also a very big thank you to the people who donated we are truly grateful. Also some sad and good news the Nissan Navara also known as the transformer has sadly gone after giving us many years of helping the community but we are happy to say that we now have big red the van which has made things a lot easier and we can fit more furniture inside to help the community. This was the last journey of the trailer that we received from Danice when we first started and which has also now retired which we will be giving away to someone in need in the future 100% for free. And now it’s time for family time and hope everyone had a great day ❤️

Once again a very big thank you to the community for helping us to help the community in need. And we would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful people of Springfield Lakes who have always been there for us and our charity organisation. We got to catch up with chilli one of our favourite German shepherds and Fae Thompson and dropped off an outside table and chairs which we finally got around to actually doing and we accomplished 2 referrals and dropped off some women’s sanitary items to a homeless lady in need. And we hope everyone has a great weekend ❤️

We got to catch up with Victor and had a semi day off Victor helped us with a dv survivor which we were very grateful for and also even gave some advice to help them. We also caught up with a lovely lady that we used to see regularly and drop off food to who we finally got around to dropping off the free aircon that she so badly needed and once again for Victor to helping with that aswell and also shouting us lunch it will be our shout obviously next time. We are chasing 1 fridge and 1 washing machine and we once again thank the community for helping us with everything that we have asked for and the people that we help are extremely grateful. And now it’s time for family time and we hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and gets heaps of Easter eggs ❤️

A very big thank you to Kelly Ann who kindly donated to our organisation and invited us to the movie night at Gailes Community House - Family and Community Hub which Danny Jnr absolutely loved the free sausage sizzle, drinks and movie there was also a raffle and Easter egg hunt. We were also lucky enough to catch up with Tran from Goodna neighbourhood house and does a wonderful job in the community helping the homeless and people in need. I also thought it was good to see councillor Paul Tully Media out in the community even though it was abit chilly and socialising with the general public. Also a very big thank you to the many people who donated fuel this week and we thought this lovely card was absolutely beautiful so a very big thank you. And now it’s time for family time ❤️
