For over 90 years, volunteers have kept watch over Talle Creek. Join us today! A historic lifesaving club based at Tallebudgera Creek on the Gold Coast.

Patrols run on weekends from 9am to 5pm with the season starting in September and ending in April.

⏰ Just 8 hours of volunteering per month (we'll even feed you!).

🏠 Not local? No worries! Plenty of our members travel from Brisbane and stay at the clubhouse on patrol weekends.

🌦️ WEEKEND PATROL RECAP 🌊

A bit of everything weather-wise at Tallebudgera Creek this weekend! Rain, sunshine and northerlies bringing cooler water through on Sunday.

Despite the rain, the incoming tides brought some crystal-clear water. 💎 Saturday saw plenty happening around the creek, with a PC&Co swim, Mermaid's Bush to Beach program bringing kids down from inland, and Brisbane Life Saving members working towards their Bronze Medallion. Sunday morning saw Talle Nippers back at the creek.

Our crew kept busy with:

🩹 2 first aids

Another weekend done and dusted. Great work by our members! 🧡

Rain Rain go away 🌧

We had a quiet and wet weekend, overly uneventful.

One person needing a ride back to shore after trying to swim across the creek in the outgoing tide, and one small cut to bandage up from someone walking near the rocks.

We're excited for some sunshine this week 🌤️

🌧️ Keep an eye on conditions at the creek this weekend! 👀

With all the recent rain, we're seeing upstream runoff flowing out with the outgoing tides.

We'll be on patrol at Tallebudgera Creek as usual, but conditions may be less suitable for swimming at times.

Check conditions before getting in, follow our lifesavers' advice and choose your swim carefully. 🛟
