Hey Everyone,

This is a reminder for our Monaro Club Run on Sunday, 21 June 2026, to the Alexandra Hotel in Leura.

To enable us to confirm our lunch booking, please let us know by 18/06/2026 if you will be attending and how many people will be joining you. We currently have a table booked for 20 people if we get anymore by this date, we are able to update the booking.

There is also plenty of parking available.

Glenbrook Information Centre – 10:45 am departure

Your prompt reply would be appreciated so we can finalise numbers with the venue.

Dear Members,
All Holden Day is fast approaching on Sunday, 2 August 2026, and we are looking forward to another fantastic day celebrating our shared passion for Holden vehicles.
To ensure we can finalise catering and event arrangements, it is essential that we have accurate attendance numbers. We therefore ask that all members intending to participate submit their vehicle entries and confirm their attendance no later than Sunday, 26 July 2026.
If you have not yet entered your vehicle, please do so as soon as possible, please also mention in your entry you are with the Monaro car club to avoid you being parked elsewhere, I have included the link below for you to use.

Monaro Club Run for June 21st 2026
1st meeting point as usual, the Plumpton Hotel for a 9.30am leave, 2nd meeting point Glenbrook Information centre Great Western Hwy for a 10.45 leave for Leura.
Winter in the mountains, Alexandra Hotel Leura.
With the pretty village of Leura often considered the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the Blue Mountains.
The Alexandra Hotel is exactly that. Originally built in the early 1900s and inspired by the monarch of the same name, the only licenced hotel in Leura is the perfect complement for travellers interested in discovering the town’s postcard-worthy, old-world charm.
Renovated in 2014, the hotel has long been a hidden gem, however, it has recently re-established itself as a regional leader in exclusive accommodation experiences, as well as a decadent dining destination.

Another great club run on Sunday!

Despite the cloudy weather, we met bright and early at Kmart Penrith at 7:30am before convoying over together to Penrith Panthers to join many other amazing cars heading out to the Magic Metal Richmond Classic Car Show.

We were lucky enough to park all our cars together and spent the day checking out everyone’s pride and joy, catching up with fellow car enthusiasts, and enjoying the fantastic turnout.

To finish off a great day, we headed over to the Richmond Hotel for lunch and a well-earned feed.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it another enjoyable club day out! 🚗🔥

APRIL SOCIAL RUN 🚗

A great day out with 20 members joining us! We kicked off at the Plumpton Hotel before cruising to Mulgoa to meet up with more cars, then enjoyed a scenic drive through Wallacia and Baines Hill into Warragamba.

A highlight was the Dam Experience Centre, where our guide Horst shared some fascinating insights — even the regular visitors learned something new! The dam is currently sitting at 97% capacity.

We wrapped up with lunch at Warragamba Workers Club and a great catch-up with everyone.

Looking forward to our next run — Richmond Classic Cruise-In from Panthers Penrith! 👌

Today we came together as a club to honour and remember the members we’ve sadly lost. Our Memorial Run was a beautiful reminder of the friendships, memories, and passion we all share.

We enjoyed a scenic drive down over the stunning Sea Cliff Bridge, where two of our beautiful members stopped to capture some awesome videos — moments we’ll treasure and look back on with smiles.

From there, we continued on to the incredible Australian Motorlife Museum, taking our time to explore the amazing collection of classic and historic vehicles. It was a great chance to appreciate the history and craftsmanship that brings us all together.

Due to the wet weather, we wrapped up the day with a picnic in the function room, sharing stories, laughs, and memories of those who are no longer with us but will always remain part of our club family.

A very special thank you to the Australian Motorlife Museum for their incredible hospitality and generosity. We truly appreciate your warm welcome and for providing us with such a wonderful space to gather and reflect.
