Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation Together, we can change the future for sick kids. We truly believe there is no greater possible impact for a donated dollar in kids’ health.

One of the largest and most trusted kids’ health charities in the country, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation exists to help provide all children with access to the best possible healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it. We have been delivering on this promise since 1986, raising millions every year for Sydney Children's Hospitals Network - including Sydney's two children’s hospitals at

Randwick and Westmead, specialised care services, and cutting edge paediatric research, operating across NSW. A conduit, an enabler, and a mechanism for powerful change, we make sure funds raised go directly to the front line of children’s healthcare – from the hospital wards to the treatment rooms, the research labs to the outreach programs.

When a child is seriously unwell, families shouldn't have to worry about where they'll sleep that night.

For families travelling hours, or flying in altogether, from regional and rural areas to receive specialist care, finding somewhere affordable to stay can add another layer of stress during an already difficult time.

The SCHF Patient Family Accommodation Program exists to ease that burden. Thanks entirely to the generosity of donors, it provides 42 fully furnished apartments at no cost to families with a child receiving care through the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, located just minutes from Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick.

This initiative is only possible through philanthropy. Every family who stays here, does so because generous donors have helped make this support possible.

Today, we’re celebrating 40 years of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation and the community that has helped make a difference for sick kids. 💜

Together, we’ve helped fund lifesaving equipment and groundbreaking research, and have supported children and their families on some of their hardest days.

Behind every milestone and moment of care are the people who have supported us along the way, year after year.

So today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate what we’ve achieved together and, most importantly, to say thank you.

Thank you for being part of our story and helping give sick kids the very best chance at a better future.

Mounties Care Cottage, being developed at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, will bring specialist paediatric palliative care closer to home for children and families across Western Sydney.

It will provide holistic care that goes beyond clinical support, offering practical and emotional support for children, parents and siblings.

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation is proud to be helping fund its development, made possible by the generosity of our supporters.

Together, we’re helping create a place where children and families can find care, comfort and connection, closer to home, when they need it the most.

When Amy was just 24 weeks pregnant, she received devastating news: she would need to deliver her baby early to save both their lives.

Born weighing just 493 grams, Aria was smaller than a bag of sugar and fighting for every breath.

At just six days old, she was transferred by the Newborn & Paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS) to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, where she underwent lifesaving surgery just two days later.

After 237 days in hospital, Aria finally went home, and today she's a bright, independent four-year-old who loves animals, arts and crafts, and theatre.

Stories like Aria's are only possible because of world-class care and the generosity of supporters like you.

Your support helps give kids like Aria a future full of possibility.

City2Surf 2026 = COMPLETED ✅

We caught up with some of our Team SCHF fundraisers after they crossed the finish line, here's what they had to say about race day, Heartbreak Hill, and why they chose to fundraise for sick kids.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and thank you to everyone involved in making the day so special. We can't wait to do it all again next year!

OCD affects around 1 in 50 children, yet many families face long delays before they can receive the specialist care they need.

Thanks to the generosity of Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation supporters, the OCD BOUNCE clinic is changing that by providing targeted, evidence-based care for children.

Already, the program is delivering life-changing outcomes for children with severe and complex OCD, with many making remarkable progress through specialist treatment.

Your support of the program is helping more children stay out of hospital, remain engaged at school and regain confidence in everyday life.
