✨ Know a young person making an impact?

Nominations are open for the Multicultural Youth Awards, recognising young people aged 16-25 from multicultural, migrant, refugee and diverse cultural backgrounds who are making a difference in their communities.

This is an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the achievements, leadership and contributions of young people whose impact deserves to be acknowledged.

Teachers, mentors, parents, friends and community members can all nominate, and young people can nominate themselves too.

🎥✨ Come along with Ikram to get a behind-the-scenes look at our recent media training workshop held as part of the Western Chances Ambassador Program.

We had the privilege of having this insightful session facilitated by Andrew Lund and Cameron Beamon from Melbourne Airport.

Through this hands-on workshop, ambassadors gained valuable insights into the media landscape, explored the role of journalism, and learned how to confidently navigate media opportunities. They also had the chance to put their learning into practice through mock media interviews, building the skills and confidence to share their stories effectively.

A huge thank you to Andrew and Cameron for generously sharing their expertise and delivering such a valuable session, and to Ikram for taking us behind the scenes and sharing her experience through this fantastic reel. 🧡
