Let’s build a community orchestra - inclusive, collaborative and all about community!

Some of our musicians will be ‘feeling it live’ in a whole new way in the Maribyrnong River Run on Sunday 13 September, and they need your support! 💫

They’re putting down their instruments and will be running or walking to raise funds for our amazing orchestra. All the distances are covered, from 5 km to the half marathon 👏🏃🏽‍♀️

Funds raised will go towards music hire costs and percussion instruments so we can continue enriching our local community with inspiring live music performances.

The bar was run by locals. Barbarian Brewing Co and Coco Loco | Alcoholic Coconut Water

Pete built his brewpub on working bees. Locals turned up and did the work.

Jill put it plain. Grow from your heartland.

Community is attendance.

A hall fills. A business stands. Same law.

Bringing live music to our community is something we’re pretty passionate about.

That’s why we are super excited to be part of this event alongside some of the West’s most talented songwriters.

The funds raised will go directly towards making more live music, more often, right here in the West.

We weren’t imagining it! The feeling in the Williamstown Town Hall last Sunday afternoon was magic 🤩🥰

We brought the music, but our incredible audience helped bring it to life.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who came and made ‘Feel it. Live’ such a huge success. We are still buzzing!

Our concert programs have never looked better, thanks to westside printer Documents on Call.

Based in Williamstown, this family-run business has been meeting the printing needs of the community for more than 30 years. No job is too big or too small. And their passion in what they do shines through in all their work.

We are thrilled to be partnering with them on our concert programs. Their generosity means we can keep them in print, making concert day that little bit more memorable🧡

Since 2024, Community Bank Seddon’s contribution has covered +300 community tickets through IWSO's Community Outreach Program "No Strings Attached".

Their invaluable support directly provides access and allows us to connect with more community members across the west to share and feel the experience of live music.

The wonderful Inner West Community Enterprises (IWCE) team recently celebrated a major milestone of giving back over $5 million in profits to the local community in July 2026 (pictured above) 🎉🎉

We had our final rehearsal last night before ‘Feel it. Live’ this coming Sunday, and we are happy to confirm:

✅ There will be chills (in Mendelssohn’s ‘Hebrides Overture’, we give ourselves the chills!)

✅ There will be thrills (and trills, too, especially from the flutes)

✅ There will be exhilaration (Borodin’s ‘Polovtsian Dances’ will leave you breathless, just like our woodwinds)

The countdown is on with only a few days to go before we fill Williamstown Town Hall with glorious orchestral sound!
