QUEERING CARE 🪩 A quick look back on this incredible event!

We had a wonderful time celebrating LGBTQIA+ perspectives in midwifery care. Thank you to all the students, friends, faculty, and guest speakers who brought curiosity, warmth and wisdom to the conversation. These discussions are crucial to the care we will provide as midwives and we are so grateful for the work of our peers to have put together such a rewarding event.

Goal accomplished!! We've surpassed our target of 100 birth kits 🚀

Better yet, ACU Student Life has matched our goal to a total of 200 kits for this year.

Wednesday, 7th October we'll be packing the kits together - bring a friend and come join us for the fun!

Be sure to register via link in bio. We'll see you there 🎉

Curious about what we do?

MidSoc was created by student midwives for student midwives, meaning whatever your goals are, they're our goals too! 👯

We're here for you to thrive in this degree and our student-voted committee is here to see that through in any way we can. 💠

Given the nature of our degree there is some flexibility in the roles, but together we fill all the responsibilities 💓
Students from any year level can be on committee!

👩‍💻Third year, told from the student perspective! 🕵️‍♀️

Catch us on campus (or tune in online) for this FREE session and hear from one of our lovely final year students in the MidSoc team.

We'll chat about all things third year - the placements, intensives, and a quick glimpse at how students are tracking towards course completion 🙀
