Fitzroy Neighbourhood House We foster community connection and active participation in society. We are a hub where people feel safe to connect, be heard, and to learn and grow.

We are a Neighbourhood House and Registered Training Organisation that welcomes people from diverse educational, cultural and social backgrounds. We provide English language courses, computer classes, creative classes, mentoring, programs in job preparation, small business and leadership, and youth programs. We also provide a Community Support and Referral service for people from migrant, refugee, asylum seeker and social housing communities.

📣 On Sat 29 Aug, Ecuadorian Corner restaurant will be hosting “A Taste of Latin America” here at Fitzroy Neighbourhood House from 12–5pm.

The event features Latin American food, live performances, art and music. For menu and combo deals, check out the restaurant’s page Ecuadorian Corner. The event is independently organised by the restaurant.

❤️ There’re also fundraising events happening over the weekend and in the following weeks for communities affected by Colombia’s earthquake, e.g., PiNCHO X DiSCO in Collingwood, La Esquina Latina OZ in Footscray, and Colombia Rising on 6 September at Collingwood Town Hall.
