The Ferny Hills State School Parents and Citizens' Association page aims to keep parents, guardians and other interested community members up to date with
&C information. You should contact the school (for school matters) or the P&C (for P&C matters) if you have:
• a formal request, comment or enquiry
• a complaint against staff or services
• a response to an item for public consultation. This page is monitored on an ad hoc basis by volunteers. You may not receive a response immediately. The administrators of this page are not obliged to engage in conversation via the comments section but will address issues raised if and when judged appropriate by the administrators. We expect that participants will treat each other with respect. We will remove comments that contain vulgar or abusive language, personal attacks of any kind, offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups, and comments that do not remain on topic or are not productive. We will also remove comments that are spam or that promote services or products or contain political references. When contributing, do not post any material* that:
• is racist, hateful, defamatory, libellous, derogatory, threatening, harassing abusive, discriminatory
or humiliating to another person or organisation
• is pornographic or contains nudity
• vilifies individuals based on their religion, gender, race or sexuality
• contains material (written, audio, video and other electronic forms) that infringes Intellectual Property** rights such as copyright
• contains personal information about another individual without their consent (including identifying information, email addresses, phone numbers or private addresses)
• falsely represents another individual, organisation, government or entity
• infers endorsement of a product, business, company or organisation
• promotes a product, business, company or organisation
• is a statement that may interfere with or prejudice the course of or otherwise deals with civil or criminal proceedings that are presently before any court, tribunal, commission or similar body or any investigation by the police or other agency. The Ferny Hills State School Parents and Citizens' Association retains the right to ‘Mark as Spam’ and remove any content that does not comply with the above guidelines, is irrelevant or otherwise unsuitable. We reserve the right to terminate your access to this page and accept no liability for any loss arising out of or in connection with such removal. We will report to Facebook any users posting inappropriate or offensive material and shall not be obliged to reinstate any individual it blocks.
