And for the grand reveal... check out out these Imagine REEvolution planter boxes crafted by our very own Trade Skills for Teens group! Cute and practical!! 😎

Once unused and unloved wood pellets, this timber has come a long way with a bit of TLC. Not only are we left with a great result, but it's been quite a bit of fun getting it here too! 😄

From deconstruction, to assembly, to final touches. Every stage has been so satisfying in its own way! It's been so rewarding to watch as these teens have unlocked a confidence in this practical problem-solving - there's been many smiles while wielding these tools and seeing the results emerge. ✨

Congrats to the whole workshop team (teens, mentors and volunteers) on this whole process - can't wait to see what you all come up with next! 🙌

Everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable in a space. 🙌

To breathe in and out freely.
To relax.
To be yourself, any part and all parts.

We created our Imaginarium because we wanted to provide our community with a shared space that everyone feels supported in. 💛Volunteers, mentors, young people, we're all here together, but with the feeling that this space has a slice just for us. 🥰Letting the stress and pressure from the outside word fall away and just having the present moment to explore, connect and let that hair down. Like a rumpus room a little way's from home base - that's what we aim for.

We're passionate about making this a space one that's accessible to everyone, where each of us feels welcome. All identities, all abilities, all brains, all needs and all strengths, all personalities, all stories - all humans. All of us and each of us - this is a space for you and me.

Earlier this May, we had our beautiful high tea fundraiser. A great day that continues to leave us buzzing🐝 with gratitude and good feeling for our community and the change we’re making together. 🎉🥰

The High Tea for a Cause has a special place in the Imagine REEvolution calendar. More than a date, it’s a feeling that we recognise for its lightness and warmth and ability to unite… the feeling in the room as we come together to celebrate the difference of empowerment.💪 For us, it's a gift that continues to give as we are supported to maintain and grow our programs to reach the people they need to reach. ✨

It’s a big day. A big day made possible because of so many people, and that makes our hearts so full. 💗

Feelin' that spring in your step - that's what we're talking about! 💪✨

To see a young person rediscovering joy, connection and confidence in themselves, it's at the very heart of our programs and why we do what we do. 💗

Witnessing these raw moments, we are reminded of all that we can nurture with the understanding and warmth of our dedicated volunteers. 🥰

In a fast-moving world full of pressure and bubbling self-doubt, we see everyday the impact that a judgement-free environment means for local youth. A space to breathe, explore without fear of failure and connect without expectation, it's a difference that counts - a place where you can be yourself and let your hair down (or out or up😄).... and it's possible because of our volunteers.

Our Imaginarium can offer a light and a hope because of you, our dedicated people. 🙏We see it as kindness and patience take centre stage as mentors give their time and love to creating an environment that feels safe and accessible. We see it again, as more volunteers still, give their time and love to keeping it this way: keeping those doors open, funding coming in and those lights on so we can make a difference together.🌈

This National Volunteer Week, to all our volunteers, now and forever, thank you for the incredible difference you help to inspire, individually and collectively. It's one we see everyday and will always be grateful for. 🫶🙌👏

At Imagine, one of the things we believe strongly is that young people deserve to be heard not just supported.

Advocating for self is important. But we also believe there is something incredibly powerful about young people advocating for other young people too.

This National Volunteer Week we’re celebrating the people who make that possible. Our volunteers currently range in age from 8 to 89 and every single one brings something valuable into this space.

What makes Imagine different is that we don’t just create programs for young people. We create them with young people.

We have young volunteers stepping up and leading.
We have young people sitting on our board helping shape decisions and keep us accountable.

Sometimes that means hearing what we’re doing well. Sometimes it means hearing that we need to do better.

And honestly, that’s how we want it.

Because being guided by the people walking through our doors helps us evolve and continue creating programs that meet the needs of our community.

To every volunteer, young and old, thank you for showing up and helping create a place where young people feel seen, heard and valued.

And if you’ve ever thought about volunteering, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking for extra hands, whether that’s supporting our programs directly, helping behind the scenes, sharing skills, lending your time or contributing in other ways.

No matter your age, experience or availability, there are lots of ways to be part of creating positive change for young people in our community.

Sometimes it begins with a game, a bit of laughter and a room where no one feels pressured to be anything other than themselves. 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️
That is why we keep things light and casual at Imagine Re-Evolution. When young people can join in at their own pace, trust grows naturally. 🪴🌿
