New 'Buffalo' bikes arrive for our freshly trained community health volunteers. Kitted out with uniforms, medical bags and transport, our volunteers are ready for the field. Their main roles will be to visit sick people in their villages, offer support and first aid, and link them to HIV testing and treatment services.

Super proud to have these people on board and wishing them the best on the front line.

We have just finished training 9 new Community Health Volunteers from areas without access to basic health services - this brings our Boro team up to 27 and expands our reach by thousands.

Both James and Eunice are living with HIV and have been helped through our project, including being treated for jiggers. While visiting their family in a remote village, Eunice shared with us:

"I could not walk. I was somebody who was declared dead...Then Gaudencia (Positive Aid community health volunteer) came to me with the manager. They ensured that the treatment was done properly...and after a very short time, I was healed. Thank you very much for the wonderful thing you've done."
