The First Responder Mobile App is a national environmental initiative that improves outcomes for Australian native wildlife affected by road trauma, natural disasters and other emergency incidents.

The project provides first responders with immediate access to species-specific guidance, environmental risk information, wildlife rescue contacts, veterinary resources and safe handling procedures, enabling injured native animals to receive faster, safer and more appropriate care while protecting the safety of responders.

By combining environmental education, wildlife conservation resources and research-based information into a single mobile platform, the project supports the protection of Australia's biodiversity while strengthening collaboration between emergency services, wildlife rescue organisations and conservation agencies.
