Remember beautiful pound puppy Cleo who needed significant surgery on her leg? We’re so happy to share an exciting update: she's ready to adopt! 🖤
After our incredible ARF supporters donated over $4,500 and she had finally finished growing, Cleo was able to have life-changing surgery to treat a damaged growth plate which had impacted the growth of her leg.
Cleo, our gorgeous teenage Bull Arab x girl, was so patient on her recovery journey on restricted exercise and her dedicated foster carer spent that time working hard to complement her already lovely nature with well-refined manners. As a result, Cleo has had a great education including lots of commands and crate-training.
May has been a very exciting month full of adventures for Cleo! She joined ARF at Dock Dogs, spent a wonderful morning with the amazing team at JB Hi-Fi, made friends at the Canberra Paws Walk and even attended the ARF dog walker volunteer training as a very special guest.
Through these outings, Cleo has enjoyed socialising and representing ARF as a wonderful ambassador. We’ve loved watching her sweet personality shine through and nothing dampens her enthusiasm for life.
Cleo is all grown up with so much love to give, and we’re incredibly proud of how far she has come 🐾
