A proud moment for Better Buses — hearing 4 out of 5 candidates at last night’s Melton Transport Forum acknowledge our very own John Stone’s work and the compelling case for bus reform. 🚌👏🏆
Local resident, Jaksha’s story stopped us in our tracks: “Travelling from Truganina North to a GP in Point Cook is incredibly difficult without a car, while a recent V/Line disruption left them stuck for 3 hours and turned their commute to work into a 5.5-hour journey.”
Rail electrification was needed yesterday — but why are we still waiting for better connectivity?
Better buses are the low-hanging fruit.
We have the buses. We know the grid of routes we need.
Now it’s time for implementation.
