The rising cost of living is putting increasing pressure on Australian households, including essential workers. HSU members are hearing firsthand how the cost of specialist healthcare is forcing people to delay or go without the care they need. The Federal Government is examining the affordability and accessibility of specialist medical services, and your experiences can help inform.

HSU National is asking members to take a few minutes to complete the survey by 12 October.

We've been working closely with HSU SA/NT/HSU National branches regarding the proposed major changes made by the Psychology Board of Australia and the effects of these changes across services and staffing. Today MSAV showed solidarity with our Victorian Allied Health Professionals Association - VAHPA comrades who are still fighting for their fair pay and conditions. VAHPA members held a 24-hour stop work rally, calling on the Premier and Health Minister to step up and deliver the pay and conditions their members deserve!

Allied Health care workers play a crucial role in our health care system and it's time the Government offered a fair deal!

MSAV also stands in solidarity with AMA members who walked off the job today.

💪The Union Women's Network had a blast at WRAWCon 26!

The annual Women's Rights At Work Conference run by brings together women and gender diverse people from a range of Unions and Industries to share their stories and stand together in solidarity.

We were excited to host a delagation from our Union this year and beyond proud to hear from our very own Julia on a panel about gender undervaluation and our Public Health bargaining campaign.
