Up to 75 workers have been underpaid on Stage 2 of the Light Rail, with some being paid below the award minimum.

We found Altus Traffic working on the project without the certification required under the ACT's Secure Jobs Code.

We're calling for Altus to be audited and every dollar repaid.

Canberra needs a strong Secure Jobs Code, to protect workers and stop good employers being undercut by bad ones.

Last Sunday and Monday, GSOs in Canberra City refused to clean the city except where it was necessary to address hazards to the public.

A first for Australia, this training is an important step towards raising the standard on construction sites.
