🚨 ACT public schools will be closed from 8:30am–10:30am on Friday 22 May during our historic stop work action.

The Government’s decision to close schools shows exactly what educators have been warning: the system is under enormous pressure, and schools are increasingly being held together by goodwill.

For years, educators have been papering over the cracks to make sure students continue to get the support they deserve. Friday’s action will make those cracks impossible to ignore.

We are taking action because our students deserve better:
📚 properly staffed schools
📚 manageable workloads
📚 real support for students and staff
📚 a sustainable public education system

Term 2 women's network event: reproductive health - cycles & transitions
This women's network focuses on the critical intersection between professional demands and reproductive health that women educators navigate daily. The network creates a safe, supportive environment for women to discuss health concerns specific to their professional context, learn practical strategies for managing their reproductive health and prioritising their wellbeing within demanding careers. Back by popular demand, Dr French will cover reproductive health and key transitional moments in a women’s life as her main topics.
