September Wrap Up: A month of community, connection and a little bit of gnome magic 🩷
September was another busy month for the Rotaract Club of Canberra, with our members getting involved across Canberra through service, leadership and plenty of opportunities to connect with our wider Rotary family.
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
🌷 Floriade Gnomes
We joined the Murrumbidgee Canberra Rotary Club for a little bit of Floriade fun, helping bring the magic of the gnomes to life.
🛍️ Trash & Treasure Markets with Belconnen Rotary
Our favourite Sunday tradition continued! We were back supporting the weekly Trash and Treasure Market Jamison alongside the Rotary Club of Belconnen.
🎤 Sharing the RYLA experience
Miles and Nick returned to the Rotary Club of Hall to share their RYLA District 9705 journeys, reflecting on the leadership lessons, challenges and connections that made their experience so memorable.
💜 Commemorating ITP Awareness Week
We marked ITP Awareness Week with a very important ingredient: purple cupcakes! 🧁
Our VP Stass shared her experience living with ITP, helping raise awareness and start conversations about a condition she lives with every day. Thanks to a Sweet Bones Bakery And Cafe for helping us raise awareness and add a little sweetness to the week.
