ONE BREAKFAST, ONE CONNECTION, AND A COMMITMENT TO EVERY CHILD’S RIGHTS!
This morning at Manoora Neighbourhood Centre, the Rotary Club of Cairns West, in partnership with Centacare FNQ, hosted a very special Children’s Rights BIG BREAKFAST to celebrate Children’s Rights Week!
With almost 80 attendees, including children, parents and community members, it was a wonderful morning filled with connection, laughter, a delicious breakfast and a shared commitment to celebrating every child’s right to feel safe, valued, supported and included.
The event was especially meaningful as Manoora Neighbourhood Centre is also home to our Breakfast Club, proudly operated by the Rotary Club of Cairns West every school morning.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from Cairns Regional Council, Balaclava State School, Wuchopperen Health Service Ltd, School Savvy FNQ, Queensland Police Service (Police Liaison Officer) and other valued members of our local community. It was wonderful to see everyone come together in support of our children and families.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Children's Rights Queensland and the Rotary Club of Cairns West for your continued dedication, generosity and amazing efforts in organising this special event and supporting our local children and families.
Together, we can make a real difference — one breakfast, one connection, and a shared commitment to valuing the rights of every child!
