Grief isn't just something we feel emotionally – it can also be something we carry physically. 💔

Have you ever noticed how grief can show up as tension in your shoulders, a heaviness in your chest, exhaustion, or a feeling of being overwhelmed?

This Sunday, join Bernadette Arena for a compassionate and insightful Quest Connect conversation exploring "How Grief Sits in the Body".

🧘‍♀️ Together, we'll explore the connection between grief and our physical wellbeing, and how bringing gentle awareness and compassion to our experiences can support us as we navigate loss.

Grief is deeply personal, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it. Sometimes, simply understanding what we're feeling can help us meet ourselves with greater kindness.

🎶 A song inspired by a week at Quest…

Everyone’s experience at Quest is different. People are touched and inspired in their own ways, and take away what feels meaningful to them. For Jess, that inspiration became a song.

Last week, while taking part in our Healing Your Life program, Jess joined the Thursday morning session, "Symptoms of Stress and What Helps". She had the idea to use AI to turn some of what she was learning and reflecting on into a song and then a music video, using some of the photos she took and images from our website gallery.

The idea came from the group who had been at Quest the week before. They had also created an AI-generated song inspired by their time here, which sparked Jess to make one of her own. 💫

According to Jess, these lyrics of the song summed up the whole experience for her:
One breath, one laugh,
One friend who’s got the time—
Here together in Bundanoon,
Making room for a little more life.

Here’s Jess’s song for you to enjoy—a creative reflection on the session and her week at Quest. 🎵

🩷 with Quest: Understanding Cancer & Trauma

A cancer diagnosis can affect so much more than our physical health. The shock, uncertainty of treatment and fear of recurrence can leave an emotional imprint long after treatment ends.

Join Kate Szymanski for a compassionate conversation exploring the connection between cancer and trauma, how these experiences affect our minds and bodies, and why we may continue to feel anxious or unsettled, even as life returns to normal.

Together, we’ll explore practical ways to support our nervous systems, respond to ourselves with greater compassion, and gently rebuild a sense of safety and connection.

Whether you’re living with cancer, navigating life after treatment, or supporting someone you love, this session offers understanding, reassurance and practical support. 🌿
