When we hurt ourselves or each other, War wins. Who wants War to Win? It’s living hell.

Sending thoughts and prayers on behalf of our community for Independent MP for Indi Helen Haines and for her swift recovery from surgery.

We need to ask for help when we need it. We are all responsible for our own feelings and our own healing. We know hurt people hurt people it solves nothing.

Helen is a true leader:, always seeking constructive policy solutions and collaboration to get the best results.

OCTOBER 2026

Staff are recommending we vote to raise rates by nearly 40% and go into considerably more debt in a cost of living crisis.

What did you think our ‘Finance Committee’’s focus and priority needs to be?

Last meeting, our current ‘Finance Committee’ Chair questioned if our current Terms of Reference allowed the governing body to ask the Finance Committee for advice on improved financial reporting.

Why and how is this a question?

With the ‘Finance Committee’ only able to have a couple of meetings, time was spent exploring if we should invest in Opera on Lake Alexandra.

Do you think our Terms of Reference might need to be reread and tightened? I’m proposed just that.

The kid & I staged our Karaoke debut For The Cause last night to Reject Repoly,with Queen’s ‘Another one bites the dust’!

Thank you to All our community to have helped raise money for the ever-so-boringly-serious legal fight to Reject Repoly. Anna Phillips thank you for making it so much fun!!!

Great to be there with other community reps Judy Hannan MP, Sara Moylan & Heather Champion, Greens councillor
