Sandon Point parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at Bulli Surf Life Saving Club, Trinity Row. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Sandon Point parkrun is a free, timed 5k group event that takes place every Saturday morning at 8am on Dharawal Country. Participants have the choice to run, walk or volunteer. Sandon Point parkrun welcomes people from all backgrounds and of all fitness levels, abilities and ages, both as volunteers and as participants. The 5km course can be ran or walked, prams & wheelchairs are welcome, and we h

What an absolutely gorgeous day at Sandon Point parkrun!

Huge congratulations to Des Comer, one of the Sandon Point O'Gs, notching up #500! Des was one of the crew on Sandon's first ever parkrun back in 2013 and he has only missed a handful since then.

Des' stats:
🏁 500 parkruns at 71 locations
☀️ 298 at Sandon Point
🌲 118 at North Gong
✅ 81 volunteer credits!

You can feel the change in the air as spring approaches. It really is the best time of the year for getting your parkruns in. 💙

Not only do we have perfect weather tomorrow, but one of our local legends will complete his 500th parkrun. 🎉 Amazing!

This individual will be the 5th Sandon Point parkrunner to do so. Who is it? You are going to have to be there to find out. 😄The Sandon Point 500 bell 🔔 will be ringing.

The roster is pretty as a picture. 🙏As long as Ben gives us the green light for a safe course, this is how it will roll tomorrow:

*7:50am - Jennifer will give a briefing to our visitors and first-timers near the finishing line. 🏁

*7:55am - Dave will be your Run Director and he’ll deliver the main briefing near the hut. 📣

*8:00am - Michael’s the timekeeper and he’ll have you on your way promptly.

With the warming weather we’ll be expecting increasing numbers, so please remember to self-seed at the start. We know the youngsters are keen to be at the front, but we don’t want anyone trampled…too many incident reports 🫣
