Today Elizabeth had a visit from Jeff Morris,(Residential Manager), Prash Maharjan (Lifestyle Co-ordinator), Aileen Boon (Resident) and Evelyn French (Resident) from Anglicare Eileen Armstrong House to donate loads of bags of food, winter wear and essentials. All these items were kindly donated by the residents, family and staff. Jeff asked for a shout out to Ruth Hartill Law who made a very generous donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and words cannot express our gratitude. Their kindness brings joy to everyone.

A huge thank you to Ken and Heather Eichberger who surprised us on Thursday with a donation of 200 beanies. Ken knits them and Heather stitches them. Great teamwork. Once again a huge thank you.

๐ŸŒŸ Community Spotlight ๐ŸŒŸ

Meet two of our youngest and most inspiring community members.

Two brothers, aged 6 and 7, have donated these non-perishable items to the Bulli Community Centre.

They collect bottles and cans from neighbours and locals, and every dollar they earn is split three ways long-term savings, things they want now, and giving to people in need.

Each Christmas, they each set aside $50 to buy toys for kids who need them most. And throughout the year, they donate extra towards food for others in our community.

Thank you both you are already the kind of humans this world needs more of. ๐Ÿ™

So many families are feeling the pressure right nowโ€ฆ

And sometimes all it takes is one unexpected expense to tip everything over

School costs
Car repairs
A new fridge when yours suddenly stops working

It adds up fast ๐Ÿ˜”

But something not enough people talk about is the support thatโ€™s actually available

Here at the Bulli Community Centre, thereโ€™s access to the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) to help everyday Aussies access up to $2,000 for essential items โ€” with no interest, no fees, ever

Yesโ€ฆ really ๐Ÿ™Œ

Itโ€™s designed to help you move forward without the stress of high repayments or debt spirals

You can use it for things like:

โœจ Household essentials
โœจ Medical or dental needs
โœจ Education costs
โœจ Car repairs

This is about giving families breathing room again

Because you deserve support, not stress
