From a lounge room in Brunswick to a purpose-built studio at Nightingale Umarkoo Wayi, Cassie and Peter have grown Hound & Bone Studio with care, patience and a deep commitment to supporting artists.

Now living and working in the same building with their son Yuri and greyhound Dash, they've found a balance that makes family life easier, business better, and community connections stronger.

In our latest resident story, they share how their fine art printing studio began, why time and relationships are at the heart of their work, and how life at Nightingale Umarkoo Wayi has opened up a new chapter.

At Nightingale Wurrgumang, a number of homes have been designed in consultation with registered Community Housing Providers and will be integrated throughout the precinct. These providers offer long-term, affordable housing for members of our community who may otherwise be excluded from the private market.⁠

We work closely with Community Housing Providers to ensure residents are supported to thrive within a Nightingale community, one that values inclusion, diversity and long-term stability.⁠
