We are thrilled to have Ben Coleman as our guest speaker. Ben is ResourceSmart Schools Teacher of the Year for 2026 and teaches at St Monica’s College, an EEV member school. Ben's hands-on “living classrooms” and strong community partnerships are inspiring students to become passionate advocates for a more sustainable future. He’ll be sharing his experiences along with ideas you may like to try at your own school. 🌱

We’ll also be launching our 2026 Eingana Magazine - a special national edition packed with amazing stories and case studies of climate adaptation in schools across Australia and the Pacific. 📖

It's the little things that can make a big difference to our local wildlife, such as keeping your dogs on a leash when you are walking them near a river or creek to prevent them from harming or even killing a platypus. 🐶🐾

Dogs are the leading cause of platypus deaths in Victoria and so the 'Take the Lead' campaign has been launched this month to remind dog owners what they should do to ensure that they can enjoy a walk with their four-legged friend and our platypuses can keep on platypus-ing! 🐕‍🦺

What a day EEV had with the Maribyrnong Junior Rangers! 🌿

A big thank you to Mick and Michaela from City of Maribyrnong for their brilliant organising and welcoming EEV's Graziella Carta to join in for the day. And to the River Detectives for the use of their equipment.

We couldn't have asked for better weather, with beautiful blue skies all morning. ☀️ Our young explorers popped on their gloves for some plant propagation 🌱 then we collected water bugs from the creek so they could investigate them up close 🔍💧.

So much curiosity and so many great questions! We finished with some bird watching 🐦 and plenty of sharp eyes spotted feathered friends in the trees.

Thank you to all the Junior Rangers for such a fun day! 💚

The EEV Team visited the Purpose Precinct at Queen Victoria Market on Tuesday. We learned about the amazing work Lawella, Fiona and their team are doing. **So many creative circular economy projects, interesting school excursions, and amazing circular economy entrepreneurial programs.** Definitely worth checking out!!
