🙌 We recently attended a fantastic Beyond Net Zero Term 3 Network Meeting hosted by Camberwell Girls Grammar School. These events are for sharing ideas and strategies for climate action in education and are co-facilitated by us and our friends at Eastern Alliance for Sustainable Learning. 🌱 🌏

Attendees heard from Bill Verhagen (Precious Plastic Melbourne) on circular economy initiatives ♻, and Professor Alan Reid (Monash Uni) on pathways to net zero schools 📉.

A highlight was seeing CGGS students showcase their Precious Plastics equipment, turning community bottle caps into new products and art! 💡🖌🎨

🌿✨ What a day out! EEV staff Graziella, Steph and Verity swapped their desks for the great outdoors last week, exploring the beautifully refurbished Serendip Sanctuary with the team at Parks Victoria.

With their stunning new sensory garden to engaging school excursions for Primary and Secondary, along with their brand new education centre, this hidden gem is is re-opening to schools in October this year. 🦋🌸

We're looking forward to working with them to bring our RSS and EEV member schools more valuable education opportunities!
